Thumbs up Jonesing for my Custom Weave

Had a great B&B weekend with my wife Dianne in Southeast PA. While in the area we made a visit to see Rocky & Kelly. My first time there and they have a very nice shop. I placed an order for my 'Wish List' kilt in Czech National tartan.
Rocky did very well at tolerating the 'Kid in the Candy Shop'. I knew what I wanted but I was a little jumpy. It may have been the adrenaline rush from the idea of spending about three years worth of my normal clothing budget on one piece.
I was going to stop there but Dianne said "Weren't you going to check on a vest to go with your conversion jacket?" Well we decided it was too hard to get a tweed to go along with the jacket, so with the help of Rocky and my enabler I was able to sooth some of the immediate jones with the purchase of a lovely Lovat Blue Argyll jacket & vest.
Thank you Rocky for working with me and I look forward to hearing from you when the tartan arrives.
Kelly, I'm sorry, in all the excitement I forgot to introduce myself.

It was great meeting with you and your wife (she was a great salesman... she's definitely an enabler!). It was nice going over the options with you and discussing the purchase to make sure you got what you wanted and it would coordinate with your other outfits. Sorry we were a bit busy when you got there and had to wait for the other groups to clear out, but we appreciate how patient you were waiting for us.

Please understand, I don't mind at ALL the "kid in the candy shop" mentality of many of our customers. In reality, me coming to work every day is like a kid RUNNING the candy shop. When other "kids" come in, we get to show off our passion for the same merchandise we get to wear / work with daily.

Enjoy the lovat blue tweed jacket and vest. You cut a fine figure in it with your Holyrood kilt. Of course, you must follow the rules of XMTS... pics or it didn't happen.

    Jones Extention

OK, so due to a bit of a delay from the mill my jones is being extended by about a month . Rocky and Kelly are very sorry for the delay but this was out of their control (2 week mill shutdown). I was told yesterday that my tartan just came off the loom . I have seen pictures of my tartan in the wild as I am now a FB friend with the designer, so this helps and hurts at the same time. The colors really pop when in the sunlight, tartans where meant to be outside.
    Keeping the Jones lamp burning,
    Kevin

Also looking forward to pics... Although I don't own a Holyrood tartan kilt, it is a classy tartan.

His jones is for a kilt in the Czech National tartan (he visited Rocky in the Holyrood!).

    Enjoy the jones, NWC.

    Woo Hoo!!!

I received my shipping email this evening. The Tank will be rolling tomorrow, I can't wait.
If I can find it I will be buying some Cerna Hora, if not Pilsner Urquell to toast the new arrival.

Kevin, you know the rules: Pictures are required.

I'll hoist a glass this evening in honor of the new kilt.
