Scottish Wedding Kilt Pic
Hello All! I am a kilt newbie but recently got a chance to wear my kilt (for the second time ever) at a wedding in St. Andrews, Scotland. The wedding, and Scotland, were a delightful experience and I wanted to share a halfway decent picture of me in my finery...
Regards,
Scott

Looking good in a great setting. Now we need to see that kilt in Austin.

Nice pic. Looks like the photo was taken in St. Salvator's Quadrangle at St. Andrews University. Brings back happy memories, my daughter graduated from St. Andrews University in 2004.

Ya look fine... but where's the picture of the bride? I'd wager she looked a heckuvalot better than you did!

You are exactly right! The wedding was in the cathedral and the reception in the university hall immediately behind it. I absolutely loved St. Andrews.

Scott: You must be a fast study. You did wonderfully for having only kilted up a second time. And in St. Andrews no less! Congratulations for jumping into the deep end and swimming like a porpoise. Your outfit looks great, ... and with those two wine glasses in your hands you look very relaxed.
By the way, the best picture by far is that of you with your "amazing and beautiful girlfriend" who "was the reason I was there in the first place". I can only judge by picture and your own words, but if I were you I wouldn't let her get too far afield, if you get my drift. She just might be a keeper, and for your sake I hope she is. Good luck in all things and thanks for posting the pics.
John
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
