MLB All Star Game Kilt
Can't find a picture on the web (yet) but very pleased to see that the Canadian who was amongst the group of vets honoured by MLB before the All Star Game last night was kilted. Not sure what regiment as I just caught a brief glimpse as I was flipping through the TV channels

I saw that too. I couldn't make it out entirely, but the kilt looked like the Gordon tartan from a distance. Perhaps someone else will have more detailed information.

Here is the full list of honorees. Bottom row, Nicholas Kerr from Canadian Army -- clicking through to read more about him reveals (in part) member of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.
Proudly Duncan [maternal], MacDonald and MacDaniel [paternal].

A bit of searching finds that though he was with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry while in the regular force, he is now a member of the Canadian Scottish Regiment, an infantry reserve regiment on Vancouver Island. If he was in uniform, the tartan would be Hunting Stewart.

That's the yellow stripe I saw, which is why I originally thought of the Gordon tartan, but again, it was such a quick glance that I really couldn't tell. Hunting Stewart makes sense, it was a very dark tartan overall and I even thought I saw a red stripe as well, which makes sense with the Hunting Stewart tartan.

Best I could do pointing my iPad at the TV screen the other night during the game opener! Not clear in the miserable snap that I took, but he was wearing a diced Glengarry.
