Autumn Befalls Us Today!
Well, this evening technically; but it feels like a great day for my USAK 5-yarder in Maple Leaf:

Happy Autumnal Equinox to you as well. Good looking kilt there mate.

Our Autumn rains started yesterday. I can hear the surf crashing on the beach as I write this.
You're right, Dale. It feels like a good day for a kilt. For me it's my MacGregor of Cardney tank.
Think I'll finish my coffee,....and go for a walk.

Indeed, 20:44, I believe and the Vernal Equinox here, south of the Equator, marking the start of Spring. A bright sunny start to the new season, continuing our winter drought!

The weather is certainly dreary here - and the leaves are changing colour, there are a few trees with amazingly red or golden leaves, which doesn't happen very often.
The horse chestnuts, though, are all brown and tattered which is not normal.
Mellow fruitfulness seems rather absent from the brambles - they were bitter right up to the point of dropping off or going mouldy, which again is not usual.
At least the apples seem to be ripening up well, and there's a lot of them again this year. I think I might get a good brewing year.

I would welcome some dreary weather! I had to spend all day mucking about in a storage shed at work, hot dirty labour as the sun was blazing and it was in the 80s.
In other words, no fall yet! Seems like, most years, the weather starts cooling off around Halloween, Equinox or no.

Great picture, Dale. As usual. Happy autumn.
It's bright, sunny, and breezy here, but there are violent thunderstorm warnings.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Fall! Did someone say Fall? Aren't all the leaves supposed to change color and fall off? Looks pretty much as it did a month ago, except a bit cooler. Fall is my favorite time of year.

Here, it rained cats and dogs on Saturday, but Sunday was brilliant! Still feels like fall, tho.
