Tartan Keen Shoes

Thought the group would like to take a look at these shoes, made by the Shoe Company "Keen Shoes" here in the Pacific NW. When my wife wore them today, I looked down and said, "I've got to get a photo of that for the Forum". I knew she had them but I had forgotten they were actually a few different plaids/tartans. Thought the "Rabble" might want to see them....

I showed your photo to our eighteen year old. She immediately grabbed her laptop. I presume that means she liked the shoes.

They are rather interesting, especially for the women that wear a type of flat. I think Keen is a trendy and actually has some excellent shoes to be worn by both male and females with a kilt.....

I have a pair of Keen's Arroyos, which I wear with my kilt and hose (instead of boots) on walks in the summer here on the coast.

Could these turn out to be the modern alternative to the ghillie? Perhaps the dancers will use them over their dance ghillies instead of the Crocs they seem to favor lately.

Every time she wears these out, she gets a lot of attention from the women that inquire where she got them. I could see it happening......
