Let's see St. Pat's pics
Let's see your kilted St. Patrick's Day photos!
I will start off, today at work (I teach H.S.), I decided to kilt up. I have not tried the ribbed turtleneck with Argyll jacket yet and this jacket is a vintage one I picked up off ebay this past Jan. Any comments/suggestions are welcomed as I am new to the rabble.

Looks good.
I've always been partial to turtlenecks, and I like to wear them on my walks on the cold foggy mornings we have here on the coast.
That's a good looking turtleneck. I like the look of the ribbing on the body of the sweater. Where did you pick it up?
Unfortunately, St. Patty's Day doesn't get much of a mention in this area which is strange since it was settled by Irish and Scots in the early 1800's.

I do not recall. These turtlenecks were fairly popular around 10 years ago and I think I own a black and a grey as well as two more black mock turtlenecks in this style.
St. Pat's is not too big around here as it is mainly Norwegian immigrant settled, but there are a few more Scots and Irish towns around that kick it up a bit more.

I also Teach High School and went Kilted, in the modern style, today.

Kid cut my head off in the picture, I do have one, but did not get my sash before she snapped the picture

It was a cold and wet parade here in Charleston, SC. Here is a shot with Miss South Carolina taken just before the parade started. She is about 6'1". Very sweet young lady.....

Great turtlenecks and wonderful pics. I think I'll try my turtleneck, too. Thanks all.

No kilt for me...
Jeans for me this year as I don't tend to wear the kilt on the Irish holiday. I did, however have my green waistcoat with the horn buttons that I typically wear with my tweed Argylls and a MacDonald ancient tartan tie. The ancient setting has green and orange as the most prominent colours so it matches the colour scheme for the occasion.
