Evening out with new Cilt
Attended the theater and then dinner with friends in my new cilt(Welsh Edwards tartan), jacket, sporran, etc. I was definitely the best dressed at the local theater. Being raised in Northern California, I attended the theater in San Francisco growing up, and while most theater goers were not in black tie, most did wear a coat and tie. In Coronado, there was only one other tie in the theater. I was definitely the only one wearing a cilt. But I had a good time once I figured out how to sit modestly in theater seats wearing a cilt. Thanks for all the posts by the rabble that have helped me immensely by learning how to wear my cilt.
Cheers,
Chaps

Great pic Chaps. Lovely tartan. Are you keeping it for 'best' or do you intend wearing it more often ...

Since it is currently the only one I have and was pretty pricey, it will be used mainly for "best" though I plan on wearing it to a Tartan Day next Saturday. I plan on getting a casual PV Kilt from USAKILTS this summer to wear to more casual events.

Well done, mate, very smart indeed. I am now very much in the habit of Kilting/Cilting up for Dressy Nights Out, and my shawl-collar tuxdedo--lovely bit o' wool it may be--is gathering quite a lot of dust. The Noble Celtic Loin Cloth is simply far more comfortable than Saxon trousers for long periods of sitting, and of course the ladies, love, Love, LOVE it. Wear It Proud, Wear It Correctly, Wear It Like You Mean It! You'll Not Go Wrong!
