    My Kilt Force Field

My Daughter asked me to go with her to a job interview the other day . tio keep here company and we could have a look round Notts shops after. So I agreed . Any way in the waiting room there were around 8 spaces to sit and while we were waiting around 20 people came in all so for the interview. Every seat was taken and people were siting in the window ledge as it was a very deep one and it was a good 40 mins before people started to get called in .

What I found funny was even thou there was no were to sit and people on the window ledge and people in the hall standing. No one sat next to me on ether side of me I good 2.5 ft of space as I say in the Argyle and Sutherland Army kilt and horse hair sporran. I could se them sneaking a look at me from time to time but no one would sit next to me it was like I had a force field around me.

May be they thought id take a bite out of them or something it was funny . as I stood up to leave and walked to the door 3 people sat in my place before I left the room but for half an hour they stood

Perhaps they thought that sitting beside your resplendent self would make themselves, by comparison, look all the worse!
Studies have shown that women who gain a few pounds live longer than men who mention it.

I suspect that in order to minimize their defensive positions for purposes of the job interview their shields were down and they were simply afraid of your presumably unsheathed photon torpedo.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I was visiting Glenveagh Castle* in Co. Donegal the other day and had the reverse experience for the short video they show before the tour, but most of the visitors were from France and Germany. If you are ever on a Tube/Subway train, people make a pitch to sit opposite you for some reason.

*A nice place to visit if you are ever near Derry/Letterkenny.

I can only assume they wanted to admire your...sporran.
