So, just how many "Clergy tartan" kilt seekers are there on this forum?

I mean "qualified" to wear it?

    C'mon guys, ante up.

I'm not qualified to wear the tartan, but I did a quick check of my bookmarked sites out of curiousity -

    McRok.com - 8 yd 16 oz at $373.00 (doesn't say which Clergy)
ScottishLion.com - 8 yd 13 oz at $580.00 (Ancient, Blue Modern or Green Modern)
The Kilt Store (right up there in the corner) - 8 yd 16 oz at $509.84 (Ancient or Modern) and 13 oz at $460.95 (Muted). I'm not sure if that is with the 10% XMarks discount or not. They also have six variations in tartan fabric.

Does ordained in the Ancient Order of the Lush count? Or possibly an acolyte in the worship of the (fermented) grape?:grin:

Oh well, didn't think so, but I would be interested in seeing the tartan, if it exists. And if not, possibly Mac could design one. His work on the XMarks tartan was outstanding (even if he did it before I got here and now I have to wait for the next order!).

The blue clergy tartan is readily available, I have a friend (a minister) who has a kilt in this tartan, he wore it at the Kirk'in service last year.

I'm assuming you mean 'Blue Clergy'.

Can you explain to me the connection between Blue Clergy and the Clark/Clarke/Clarkson history?

    moved thread...

I've moved the thread over to the "General" section, since a particular tartan is being discussed...

    Cheers,

    Todd

As both a Clark and clergy, I've been keeping my eye out for a year or so. Some of the higher priced shops have the tartans, but on my budget they will have to wait.
