A good but expensive couple of days

I got an somewhat unexpected bonus at work and she who must be obeyed said its your bonus indulge yourself. I had been lusting after a custom sporran that was on Wyverns Leatherworks site( beaver fur and knotwork) so after a few emails back and forth with Donnie I settled on the design and Friday I ordered the sporran. Then today I ventured up to Keene New Hampshire to meet with Judy Sullivan about having a new kilt made my first full 16 ounce 8 yard tank. After looking at several tartans I went with Red Scott Modern coming from the House of Edgar. My lovely bride of 22 years is a Scott and I've always liked the tartan. So now comes the hard part waiting for the craftspeople to do their thing.

I know from experience that you will be VERY happy with Donnie's work. He's also a pleasure to work with. Hope your kilt turns out just as well. Congrats on your purchases, but now comes the hard part...THE WAITING.
