    Sinful to wear a kilt.

I found this utter rubbish while surfing the internet. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to respond to the idiot that wrote it.

How odd. Mr. Robert J. Stewart (the article's author) might have a different view of the kilt were he to discover a Scottish heritage of his own. Never say never! I will try to contact, for a rebuttal or at least a clarification of facts, the (person so offended) to mull over.

That was entertaining; though one look at the front page of that website showed that these are simply people who are determined to be offended by everything. I guess everyone needs a hobby.

My first thorough attempt to find Mr. Robert J. Stewart was negative. He seems to not want a rebuttal or debate and the Fundamental Top 500 web site is uncooperative to assist. Maybe he's and they are just "yell FIRE inside the theater, then flee the scene" sort of people.

Every man deserves his own soap box, no matter what he wants to say. But there's no reasoning with some folks, because they don't want to change their minds; they want to believe whatever they've chosen to believe, so all you can do is tune it out and go about your day.

This is from a basic misunderstanding of who wears the kilt. The kilt was worn by men, so the prohibition against wearing women's clothing doesn't apply. (Women wear skirts which traditionally were much longer and did frequently had pleats in the front). Also, a kilt is not a soft raiment. A tank is a tough piece of clothing designed for active men to wear. Based on these facts, the author is confused. And so that no one misunderstands, I am a Christian and a Biblical student.

ROFLOL. I grew up listening to this sort of rubbish. I was scared to death when I was a kid. At some point you have to realize that nobody is going to heaven except the authors of pamphlets (now websites), missionaries and a couple of preachers.

Now I'm Eastern Orthodox. When I look at the hundreds of icons in our church, not a single one of those saints wore trousers. NOT. ONE. In this guy's "heaven," there's no drink, no dancing, little music and men wear pants. I think I'll stick to Orthodox heaven where there's vodka and whiskey, music and dancing, and no man is left to suffer in trousers.
