    Movies/Shows with Celtic Roots

We are currently watching Outlander finally! Other than Braveheart, are there any good shows with Scottish/Irish roots? We binge watched Reign last year, which we quite enjoyed. Looking forward to seeing Mary Queen of Scots when the movie comes out in December. Is there anything else out there we have missed? Prefer something along the historical fiction route.

Old BBC (if memory is correct) television series, May to December. Main character is from Scotland. Throughout the series, comments/one liners are made about him being Scottish-ish.

A very loose connection to Scotland. Bob Hope & Bing Crosby in Road to Bali. Sounds odd, but a Scottish connection is there.

How about the animation film "Brave". I see a blend of different cultures but like the tartan and clan identification. I'm also a sucker for a red-headed girl.
