That tie is a cool Disneyland collectable, the tartan aside.
Because Pendleton Woolen Mills operated a shop in Frontierland in Disneyland for many years.
The shop's staff worked for Pendleton rather than for Disney.
I loved that shop! For one thing they had a selection of elegant silver Scottish-made kilt pins. And lovely tartan travel rugs/blankets in a range of actual tartans. And beautiful tweed jackets and hats.
The "Frontierland display" is interesting. I would assume it was on display, perhaps in the windows.
True that something like an ex-display item could end up in Company D (the employee store).
