    Well, it may not be easiest way, but I went to the Duke of Rothesay thread, found McMurdo's post, used the Quote button to show the image URL, copied the URL and pasted it into this thread.

    Some possibilities...

    The hunter in the Ettrick range has my eye. It appears to be a slate greyish color with an olive or olive and blue or black window pane? Is that a fair assessment, Matt?

    I also rather like the Glen Darroch, Glen Keith, Glen Jura, and Glen Fearnan...Glen Tilt too...but I think if I were going with that much color, the Fearnan would look better with my kilt.

    I'd call the overstripe more of a dark grey than an olive. Here is a photo of a jacket made up in that tweed, if it helps.


    (BTW, the tartan in the photo is weathered Douglas, and I think this tweed looks smashing with those colors!)
