Just came across you guys this evening and so far I like what I see. I am impressed to see some other Canadians are members. It is very rare to hear about Canadian KILTED events, points of view and so on and so on.

Hello Chris, welcome to the forum. I believe there are others from Ontario who also wear kilts. Being so close to Nova Scotia I'm surprised to hear you say there are few highland events.

There are a few of us from Canada here, and quite a few from Ontario. I know the guys from Ontario are planning an upcoming get together. Perhaps one of them could let us know the details in case you were interested in joining them for a few.

I may have miss represented myself. There are great events in and around Ontario and Canada you just don't hear allot of conversations about them on other sites. We have great Highland games in Ontario and i am slowly trying to get to them all. I have also heard allot of great music over the years as well.

Hello S.C. ...I always suspected that there were more Ontario kilt fans out there. Glad you found us. I think the event conversation tends to lag a bit over the winter. Mostly just trying to stay warm, ya know. So waht part of the territory do you prowl? I'm in London. Others of the ilk lurk between here and the GTA region. The more, the merrier, I says. 8)

I got invited to come to the Glengarry Highland Games this year. Doubt I will make it but I hope to one year!

Hello Chris with another welcome from another Vancouver guy. Glad to talk with a Kilted Canadian any day of the week. I hope the winter is not to bad over in your part of the country. Out this way we have spring in full force. I have been riding my motorbike for the last couple of weeks and I still manage to find time to get a little snowboarding in!
Oh yeah and we have some flowers growing here as well. OK I hope that I haven't pissed you off to much with me bragging about the west coast !
