I hope your fiance doesn't peruse the forum. You look good. I'm sure she will appreciate the trouble you've gone through to make your day memorable.

    Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials.

I really need to get "suited up" w/ some dress wear, maybe a tweed jacket for now. I'm gonna check out the outfitter you used. Thanks.

You know, originally, the magenta (purple) lines were red in colour - this was known as "Cluny's Tartan." Kinloch-Anderson is the firm responsible for making the colour change during the late 19th-century.

Hey, I did the tartan tie. If you like it, don't let anyone tell you different.

pretty much how do things anyways. i actually bought it WAY before i got the kilt, probably about 4 or 5 months ago. saw it on ebay, but bought it from the actual website instead. i think i got it mostly to kinda get a look at the tartan before buying the kilt, kinda like getting a swatch before buying a kilt, but this actually serves a purpose too! and even though its from two different places the mill must have been the same because the match is perfect.

    Too true!

My own wedding kilt has just arrived and I'm also not getting married till July 2012! Oh well, still got my doublet, hose and sporran to jones over before then...

    Cheers,
