    Kansas Muzzleloading Convention

This past weekend my daughter and I attended the KMA Convention in Topeka, KS. Since we had one member that was running about in his great kilt I decided to dress up a bit and wear my kilt with my war shirt. I got compliments galore and considering the rowdies I hang out with I didnt recieve any heckling, lol.

Myself and a friends daughter before the banquet.

    Me listening to the speaker.

Me and my Daughter Mariah before the banquet. I was trying to hide behind her.

Nice. The living history and buckskinner crowd is kilt friendly here in Iowa also. In fact, they are amongst the best promoters of the kilt hereabouts.

I don't think that worked - but I think your outfit does!

That's an interesting style direction I never would have thought of. Nice.

I should note that this was the first time I wore my kilt in public and at a banquet no less, lol. My daughter even said I looked nice instead of just rolling her eyes.
