Epitaph
So I am up at the crack of dawn and waiting outside the post office when it opened. I hand the post master my ticket and what does he hand me? A certified letter. NOOOO…. It’s suppose to be a package not a letter. Sadly I leave the post office and head for home. I know the postal lady delivers around noon on Saturday and the post office closes at noon. Maybe I will drive up and down all the streets in my neighborhood until I find her. I wonder if shell give it to me or call the police and have me arrested. I wonder if she has the package or just another ticket to redeem at the post office, NEXT MONDAY. AGHHH. I CANT STAND IT. Ok calm down it will get here when it gets here. So I run a few errands for the Mrs. I am standing in my front yard at about 11:30 when the little postal jeep comes around the corner. She (the Postal lady) usually walks down the other side of the block and then back down my side making my house second to last. I am never going to make it to the Post office by noon. I hold up both arms so she can see I want something really bad. She walks around from the other side of the jeep with a package in her hand. OH MY GOSH SHE HAS IT! Calmly I wait. Well Actually I yelled YOU HAVE MY KILT. She just smiled and handed me the package. I was beyond excitement. I found the little tab and ripped the package open Right there and then. I had it, I have my new ROSS Tartan kilt. I didn’t even wait until I got in side to put it on I actually wrapped it around the kilt I had on to show it off to the postal lady. She loved it. I love it.
