Yayyy I made a simple sporran...... Or is it!
Ok ladies and laddies,I just finished a sporran pattern I've been working on, I cheated a little and had a military canteen pouch laying around and took the thing apart and copied its pattern to make this one!
I hope it showed up...
Ok that what I did anywho!

Obviously it is a military 'black ops' sporran - because I can't see it!

Rabble;
A 'sporran'- well, maybe, with a Utility Kilt or the like. Not something I would wear, I am not, by any voice, a 'hard line kilt fanatick'.
But, a good effort.

Ah - there it is. From what I can discern, it doesn't look too bad at all and a really good first attempt.
I think we would all like to see it being worn - give a good background and give us an idea of proportions.
And maybe a better camera - if possible?
But on the whole good inventiveness and WELL DONE!.

The background that it's on is actually the kilt it was made for, the dominions are about 10 inches in the front portion across the base and sides, and 8 inches wide on the back portion and flap, it's all one piece with the exception of the blue trim piece I used to break up the khaki. It's about the depth of a water bottle but could hold two or three. Unless you were talking background as to why I made such an odd attempt! Lol

What I was thinking, Robert, was you wearing your creation. These things are always better 'in action' as it were. You will probably have to get someone else to do the photography or use the big mirror trick.

The whole bit is for a friends birthday, gets the kilt pouch and military style cargo pockets, the whole thing took about 60 hours plus of work, and it's a gift so I earned experience instead of pay! All in all I am pleased how the whole deal turned out. Pictures will be in my photobucket album later on.
