Patience Rewarded
At long last my patience has been rewarded. I have found my tweed jacket, lovet green, in the clearance bin at Scotweb. Along with that I also found my new kilt in the same bin, a 13oz, 5yrd, no doubt pleated to the sett, absolutely gorgeous Ferguson ancient. Needless to say my jones factor has risen exponentially.
While I'm not a Ferguson myself, I swear on my mother's grave to all Fergusons reading this post, that I shall not disgrace the Ferguson Clan whilst clad in their tartan. Unclad I can't make any promises LOL. I have read much on the history of the Ferguson Clan, and I would be pleased and proud to be amongst you had I been so blessed.
If Mr. Scotweb is reading this, your customer service ROCKS!
The tartan in question

Jacket will look something like this. I should look as good as the model ...

I'll post pics of me in 'em when it all gets here. Just to prove it happened.

I'm a bit confused. The first image of the tartan you show is Ferguson, but the two images of the kilt (apron fringe and pleats) show the MacDonald of the Isles Hunting tartan.
