RKilts also makes sporrans
In keeping with the RKilts slogan "Based on Tradition Built for Today" I have developed sporrans that reflect that ideal.
The Festival sporran line is a production line sporran that is built by me in Canada using top quality leather.
They are also competitively priced. They were introduced late summer and early fall of last yeay
The base model sells for $53.95

The semi dress sells for $64.95

Then there is the Double Double (D squared) for $79.95

There is also a pocket in the flap for this one

They measure 8" across at widest point, 7.5" tall and either have a 2" double gusset or 3" double gusset depending on the model. The gussets are made from the same thickness of leather as the body of the sporran (2.75 oz leather) The double gusset maintains the shape of the sporran allowing it to stay flat when empty and hold the items securely when loaded.
The D squared model features a double front pocket. The inside of that pocket has dividers that can accommodate penknives, pens. There is a pocket for cell phones, a keys keeper. The top flap has a zipper to reveal another pocket. ( I had used velcro in the earlier models but I opted for a zipper for easier access.)
All these features for a low price of $79.95
How can this be done you ask? Well I make my own products, I don't have someone else make them for me.
My shop is equipped to mass produce them.
So if you are in the market for a reasonably priced top quality day wear sporran consider a Festival sporran from RKilts.
Cheers
Robert

Things That Shouldn't Be Overlooked
Having been disappointed in a few sporrans along the way, it is definitely worth mentioning that a few of Robert's features are worth noting. The festival sporran I own is made from good quality leather, the gussetts are made from the same leather not a thinner less quality leather, so both hold up to good use. They are also sewn very well so have a solid construction. The closure system is solid and I don't see coming loose or breaking.
I mention these points because these are areas that I have had issues with other sporrans and they have failed. I consider my festival sporran a good value as well and believe I will have this sporran for many years to come.
The D Squared model was not available when I ordered mine, but that looks like a winner.
