I also wear doc martens oxfords sometimes, and keen sandals when it's very hot.
My main shoes right now are very similar to these, they are a pair of Doc Martin Full wing brogue boots.

I have three pairs of shoes I wear. In the winter I wear my black composite toe combat boots, black tennis shoes and black dress shoes. The boots I've come to only wear in winter, they are far too heavy and well insulated to be summer time wear. The dress shoes are when I'm going to something more formal, like church or an evening dinner. The tennis shoes, are well everything else.

Honestly I wear what I normally wear with pants or a kilt. The only real difference is I don't feel properly dressed unless I have my kilt hose on with the kilt.... Thus I don't get to wear it out as much with only 2 pair. But I'm changing that!

I took this photo over the weekend of a couple well-dressed gents preparing for the march of the clans at the Las Vegas Games.

It wasn't until I posted this photo on another thread that I noticed that neither of these men are wearing what would be considered traditional footwear, though otherwise their dress strikes me as quite traditional.

I noticed the wonderful kilt jacket worn by the man on the right and asked him about it. It's a bespoke Harris Tweed one.

    To all,
Today, when I went to the Taladega Super Speedway to do a recon before I go to the NASCAR race in May, I wore my sleeveless vest and my McEvil kilt with a pair of brown leather sandles. I also had lunch at a Cracker Barrel resturant and shopped at a Bass Pro Shop and Walmart and had only possitive comments. For pub wear I usually wear my SWAT boots (I miss those days) with scrunched down hose. For more formal occasions I might wear black slipons, gillies, or other broughs. Variety is the spice of life so "they" say.

I may get flamed for this, but I wear a pair of Vans red checkerboard slipons when I go out.
