So tru - Blu, it is nice to get to places the kilt is commonplace.
We have a couple of events coming up in October I shall attend.
My kilted weekend involved a walk along the beach with my wife. Mychael, in the eyes of most, if you're wearing a kilt - you're dressed up or even overdressed for any occassion.
Here we are:

Today i attended a string concert, my son was in the orchestra. The lady at ticket sales said "nice kilt, is it a special tartan?", I said "yes, Stewart hunting" (8 yard USA kilt), it was nice to get a positive and informed comment.

Graham, I like that picture so much that I am presently using it as the background on my PC's desktop. Very nice!
Nice brown/mahogany day sporran as well. I prefer things to be not so ornate.

I am deeply honoured Mychael. The sporran was made with tassles but I removed them, they mad a noise when I walked that annoyed me. I like plain sporrans too.

I like having the tassles on my sporran, but they do annoy me as they clunk around. I've thought of either gluing or sewing the backs of the tassles down to the sporran, but then again, I also like the swing of the tassles like the swing of the kilt.... Can't please me, I suppose.
Andrew.

Great pic Graham, looks like we're going to have to all look for those "Kodak moments" and snap one like that.

Bear,
I think that you have found a good model for your show.
He can be cool and just go by his stage name 'Gray'.

I love the Drumming sound I feel like I'm walking in a parade.....
Great idea Mychael. I'm just a bit worried about the the worshiping of idols. Not to mention the wifes reaction when she turns the pc on, and sees Grahams "fizzog" staring back at her from under all that face fungus (Sorry Graham just for fun. Grovel grovelcreep grovel(exits walking backwards bowing and scrapping)
