I think many of us would love to have an easy to get to list where one could check for the white sheep out there.
Since I don't like buying stuff on the net, such a list would make life much easier and my feet would thank you .

    Edit:
Positiv reviews are much more helpfull than negativ ones I think.
Maybe a star system or so for:
    Service-
    Quality-
    Price-
I don't think that this would be a good idea.

I LIKE being able to tell everyone that I'm a proud member of the PHKOC and that my kiltmaker (Paul Henry) is a bluidy magicien and he deserves to make a living (and a damned good one, at that!) making his magic happen.

If we had one of these threads, I would only be supposed to say it once!

Oh, by the way, did I mention that Paul Henry is a more than just a bluidy good Kiltmaker?

It should be a "red flag" to anyone shopping for jackets etc when a site has a patchwork of images obviously gathered from various sources. Why doesn't the company photograph their own products? Are they ashamed of what their own products look like? Do they really make anything or are they a mere scam? This is what I think of, anyhow.

On the other hand there was that generic trifold photo sheet/brochure of sporran styles that was used by a number of Scottish sporranmakers and Highland Dress retailers throughout the 70s and 80s. You could send away for the price list from three or four different Scottish sporranmakers and all would send you that same photo sheet.

Now about this blonde "Lochcarron girl", her?

The difference is that in both of the above cases vendors are reselling the product pictured, rather than selling your own "mystery meat" with an image you stole from the real manufacturer.

She's certainly not hard on the eyes, that's for sure.

No need to stop telling us that Paul Henry is a bluidy good Kiltmaker.
It would be more of an extra opportunity to repeat it even more.

And it would help the Rabble to spend their money on magic and leave their fingers off the dark stuff
