Well done on your own tartan! A feat I aspire to one day.

I like the tartan, especially the "salmon" color as contrast. I'll see it when registered as I am on the SRT's mailing list. And, I like your kilt. You (and Matt) have created a family heirloom. Congratulations!

Thanks for posting the pics, though a pleat shot and a Hamish pose would complete the superfecta.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Very well done, young man. I also enjoy the "salmon & mustard". In my preferred parlance, they are "Ancient Primrose & Pink" of the Scotland National Team's Lord Rosebury Colours, beautifully set off against that weathered ground.

Your kit is aces, mate. Your kilt is brilliant!

Yes indeed, and not that I'm particularly suggesting you wear it with your kilt but - http://www.toffs.com/scotland-1900-r...football-shirt

Yessss! I have that exact shirt. I have many Toffs shirts. However, I've yet to procure their Ted MacDougall "Cherries" shirt.
No excuse really. Great player and I should have it by now. Perhaps a Birthday present from my family?

By the time I could actually see him play (Match of the Day re-runs) I think he played for Southampton.
He had some Caps in the Dark Blue shirt.

    You guys are awesome

P.S. It's World Cup time and Scotland keeps their streak alive...1998 and couting.
PiperofthePlains, your task is to Google Ted MacDougall and Bournemouth FC.

I saw your tartan on Facebook! Matt had posted some photos of him working on your kilt. Well done.

Straying of thread here I know. When we moved south me and my dad swapped our Saturday trips from Hampden Park and the mighty Queens Park FC to Dean Court and AFC Bournemouth. Ted MacDougall was the star player, before his transfer (for a short time) to Manchester United. He did I think, end up at Southampton, before emigrating to Canada. Players weren't paid anything like they are today and for us at half time it was a cup of Bovril (beef tea) and a meat pie!! We were all keeping it "real" though. Happy days!

    Sorry PiperofthePlains, but...

StevieR you have to stop! I have Toffs' Black and White "Hoopy" Queens Park Spiders shirt with Bobby Dickson's No.2 and everything!
I can provide visual proof. Ok, enough. I have to take my daughter to Ballet.
I'm not sure where it ranks, but XMTS is GREAT

Where did you get the kilt made? Did you design it first and then send it them or did you design it in conjunction with a kiltmaker?
