Not counting all the second guessing before I actually started cutting. About an hour. Even most of that time was spent measuring. I did it on a sewing machine.

Ah, that explains it. I am doing mine by hand about 15-30 mins a day and its taken me 6 months! To tell you the truth I know it would be easier to use a sewing machine but I just don't like the stitching they make...
