Very nice! I have wanted to make one for a while but the horsehair my aunt gave me is too tangled.

If it is tied at one end, soak it in a sink of warm water and about ½ C hair cream rinse. Hold the secure end, and gently come it out with a wide comb, while it is still in the water. Be gentle and patient and you should be able to get it straightened out.
Another method - Wet the hair in sink and gently work cream rinse through the hair and comb it out with wide comb. with the cream rinse directly on the hair, you can work on the counter instead of in the sink.
Once you have all the tangles out, gently rinse all the cream rinse out and hang it to dry.
Bonus: the hair will be softer to touch and have a nice sheen.
