Not arested but stoped by poliece in the park after dark in my kilt.
This happend at the end of our second Kilt night.
My wife and I were walking back down the street to our car, when the urge to pee came upon bolth of us. As thier was no public restroom close we thought we would sneek off into the dark park near buy. Whell just as I was lifting my kilt and she was about to lower her pants. Sudenly a very bright flashlight was shining on us.
And two of "Bozemans Men in blue" came walking over... The asked us if we were with some party that was happening some wear thier in the park. we said no, that we were... um.. looking for a restroom. after a short time of conversation that I can't remember they said that if they walked away they would letus do our buisness. As long as we left the park right away after. We did. the cops were realy cool about it.
Kind-of an emberasing story but thats as close as I've ever been to being in trouble in a Kilt.

Touching wood? Sorry guys you've lost me. Care to explain?

I've never been arrested kilted, nor have I arrested(or ever likely to) anyone whilst kilted either.

I locked up a streaker in the town a couple of months back. Caught him just before the public did.

Not arrested but stopped twice during my campaign.

In one poor neighborhood that I entered where the first house had a door mat that said, "Go Away", people were suspicious of the guy in the kilt. I'd knock on the door and if no one was there, I'd leave my literature on the door. The officer said some people had had their houses broke into and the criminal would knock on the door and if there was no answer, break down the door. I felt sorry for these people because of the decay of society.

In a rich neighborhood near a country club, the entire neighborhood was extremely unfriendly and I had the sense that even those who answered the door had no time for commoners. After the officer stopped me, I soon left that particular neighborhood in disgust, vowing never to return.
