Well, I did it.
No kilt yet, but according to my tacking number I'll have one on 6/22/05... my wife is gonna kill me ;)
Black original Utilikilt. Hope I look good in it ;)

Welcome to the board, don't worry, wives need training and educating same as us all.
Say it with flowers or some other gift, maybe buy her a new dress (or trousers), she'll come around, they all do - eventually!

Welcome to the group! Nice choice for a first kilt, too. I just got my black original UK in the mail last week, and I only take it off for work.
As for your wife...she'll most likely come around, once she sees you wearing it. It took my wife over a year to really start to accept my kilt wearing. Now it doesn't bother her at all. In fact, she thinks it's sexy.
