I like both Nick's and Andrew's, they seem like nice variations on a traditional theme. I've never been one for butterfly knives, but the damascus blade makes me take a second look. Clancelt the handle on the knife from Highland Blades seems small, does it effect how much you use it?

Well, everything looks small in my gorilla hands ;) It actually feals really nice, it's fits right in the fold of your hand and feels like an extention to your hand. It's also a very heavy and solid feeling knife. It's my favorite if you can't tell

Wow
Rab, Those are beautiful. I have not looked at adding a Dubh to my kilt accessories. This motivates me though....

Sorry about the previous post. While not a proper sgian dhu this does allow me to have a proper knife with me.

Rab, the sound you have just heard is my jaw hitting the floor. Those are gorgeous!! I especially like the oak one, I have a similar idea for the dirk I'm making. Did you make the blades as well?
