The sporran is one that I made from the leather of an ancient old pair of boots. I really wanted Sinbad to have brown accessories (for a more casual daywear look). All the kid's sporrans I could find online were the more formal black ones. Inspired by Ozmeath's recent sporran making adventure I tried my best (Thanks for the posts and pictures Ozmeath!). It certainly isn't perfect but Sinbad loved it, so I'm happy. I put belt loops in the back and then made a small hanger to run through them and attach to his belt. I think for a child that works better than a separate sporran belt. The Sgian Don't is a pretty small one and has a comb instead of a bottle opener (I thought it would be a tad more appropriate for a kindergartener).

Thanks for the pic! Great job on the Sporran by the way. It gives me hope that I can come up with something for my son. The sgian don't is nice too. I think he looks terrific.

Prester John has relly created a fire-storm of kilt wearing at our parish. Kizmet's son D'Argo had his on today, and one of my sponsors younger sons, Justin has decided he wants one too1 Lucky him, grandma is going to hand sew one for him!
