I went to highschool in the 80's and every other classmate of mine wore pink polo shirt with collars turned up. Some of them even wore a skinny neck tie and accessorised with a pair of ray ban sun glasses.

I also started listening to metal in highschool, so I wore black a lot. Pink is still to preppy/yuppy for me. Til this day, I still wear lots of dark colours.

Jerry, congrats on surviving that. I'm not surprised at all they didn't respond to you. It seems to me all the emphasis is on women and the only thing society cares about men is if he can get an errection or not.

I graduated HS in '81, didn't get into the whole fashion "trend" until '86 or so. A girlfriend at the time talked me into going for the preppie look. Didn't last more than a couple of years, but I'm guilty of it.

Elvis's favorite colors for clothing were pink and black (at least in the old days). Can't go wrong with a pink shirt and a peanut butta an' nanna samwich. Thank ya very muuuuch.

pink just isn't my color. Nothing against it, I just can't pull it off.
