My first impression is simply a "W" with some intertwined floral trappings....

I believe it to be a flourished Capitol "W".... probably to be used in a manner similar to the monogrammed shirt or tie.

With the form of what looks like serifs, I'd say it's a W, not an M.

My greek is appalling, but I didn't realise that the lowercase omega had a vertical riser/stroke in it? I was tending towards the "flourished W" in an uncial font theory, myself.

The lower-case omega does have a riser, of sorts, (you can see it here),
but it's *usually* wider than it is tall. I still lean towards an embellished uncial W.
