The X Marks tartan is #6679 in the International Tartan Index. Brian Wilton informed me that it was mistakenly left out of the on-line version of the software, but it should be up on the STA site in 2 weeks or so.

Thanks for the info about the X Marks tartan - I'll see if we can get it added soon. Can anyone confirm whether it's available for us to weave, or should we mark it as copyright? We'll also be addressing the other comments and I'll reply further next week.

As for the price of the Columba one Graham, it does of course cost a bit more for us to get a short piece woven for just one kilt (though it would be cheaper in greater lengths). But it's actually not much more than some premium tartans off the shelf, and under the circumstances we feel not a bad price for a garment that might well be the only one in the world! Surely better than it not being available at all? Go on, you know you want it... ;-)

Great, now I have to choose between you guys ant Matt Newsome if I ever get the massive amount of cash together that I'd need for a Colorado tartan kilt. Thanks a lot.

Seriously, good job, and congratulations on the new range.

    Thanks

I have sent email direct to you Nick via your website, I look forward to an early reply.

I had the same problem with the large image not loading with IE7, running on XP Home.

I was glad to find my favorite tartan, Scottish Borderland, but the online swatch was MUCH darker than the real thing.

The enlarged 'pop up' facility should now be fixed and working for all browsers mentioned, so thanks for bringing the bug to our attention.

But please note that it may not work for 2-3 days for more common tartans and ones you've already looked at! Due to the huge calculation load, these pages are cached on our servers and flushed in rotation every 3 days or so. (Sadly, if we delete the cache en masse the server load slows everything to treacle and sales plummet!)

If anyone experiences further problems otherwise, I'd be grateful if you could let us know. Thanks!
