Bradley, I flew from Washington Dulles to London to Glasgow and took the train to Dumfries. My flight was expensive ($1200 round trip) but I STRONGLY recommend upgrading to something other than coach. On the trip back the plane was (due to the on again off again British Airways strike) nearly empty (24 customers on a 747) so I wandered back into coach. I don't recommend riding back there for 7+ hours

P1M with all the photo coverage and tales spun on these pages of the big "do" it would appear that the Burn's night is going to turn into the Burn's season! I would venture to say your the best "unkept secret" around now on Xmarks.
Ferintosh is definately on my list in the must experience catagory when my wife and I finally make it to Scotland. I hope that by the time that we won't have to book 3 years in advance , will be worth the wait I am sure if we do.

Gina and I would love to be there. We'll definitely be passing through before Ham's Storrington gathering but we'd be interested if there's enough demand for a third Burns gathering.
