In later years I became a private pilot and joined a group which operated an elderly Pa-28 Cherokee 180, but this has recently been sold. Wow, flying in Scotland!!!! A dream for me!! As you may have read, I sold the Cherokee and now fly a Quad City Challenger II Ultralight. A wonderful little 2 seater that is "True" stick and rudder flying. It cruises at about 65 Mph and can fly as slow as 28 and as fast as 100 equally as comfortable. It has a 3 cylinder two stroke 70 hp engine that burns about 3 gallons per hour. Nothing but pure fun. If I can figure out this forum layout, I will post a few pics of the bird with me in my new kilt beside it. Hey... flying in a kilt...what a breeze!!
