Welcome, from Inverness-shire.Sun?What is this sun thing? We use a bonnet to keep the rain off!

If you dont mind, where did you go to dinner? I usually find that the more expensive the restaurant the less finger pointing and comments I get. I can go to Ruths Chris steak house, and have zero response, but the following week go to Shoneys and I get nothing but finger pointhing and gawks.

(If this is the men's department, where are the kilts?)
LOL You have no idea how many times i have thought that very same thing.
I'll never forget how nervous i was the very first time i ventured out in my first kilt.
I wore it to my spouses mothers house on Christmas day last year, and of course my wifes entire family was there.Got some funny looks from her brothers (big mocho hunters ya know)but her sisters could not get over it. Of course one of her sisters had to ask the big question(What do you wear under it) and i said what i was born wearing.

I remember the first kilt thing. It was at work, and I got the kilt in the mail that day on the way to work, then went streight to the restroom and put it on. They just happened to be having a birthday party for the lady who got me into kilts that day, so it worked out. She even helped me take the basting stiches out. It was fun.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Congrats on the new kilt and on the positive experience. You may not have gotten comments but I'd bet you got some admiring looks.
And of course from Connecticut
