    Celtic Corner?

Does anyone have a kilt from Celtic Corner and would they like to offer a review?

I have about 3 or 4 from them. They seem to be similar to the ones that Frugal Corner has. For the price they are not bad. The only reason I do not buy more from them is that they are not a sponsor here & since joining XMarks & have bought from only XMarks sponsors & members.

I'm sorry, Dirk, I don't know if we're talking about the same company...I was referring to the one in Cincinnatti...

    http://www.celticcornerstore.com/

I was looking at their medium weight 8 yarders...

    Thanks, though.

yea, I think Dirk's a little off. I do not have one, I however have seen/touched/inspected them. Lenora makes a nice kilt from what I've seen. They are only 20 minutes from me, and she's very pleasant to talk to. I would suggest a drive to Cincy is in order!

I too have been to the store. They have a lot of great stuff, kilts and accessories alike.

I am actually somewhat taken with their "Day Kilts." They are casual non-tartan kilts that run around $120.00.

Lenora is great to work with, as well. I purchased a belt from her and, upon wearing it, found it to be too big. I was unable to get back to the store quickly due to work. However, when I returned two weeks later, she was more than happy to exchange it for one that fit and even assisted in finding one that fit appropriately.

I was speaking with the gent who is the doorman at Nicholson's (unfortunately, after having a few Old Speckled Hens, I forgot his name). I asked him about sport jacket conversions to kilt jackets and he immediately presented me with a Celtic Corner card and specifically recommended Lenora.

I have yet to contact her about this yet - but she seems to have a local following here.

Anyway, seems to be a great vendor all in all.
