Ron
Hey Ron, got tangled up in editing problems back there, but thanks. Like I said, that's the only acrylic I'm going to get. That was my first kilt, and it at least gives me some reference point. I like the PV materiel, it's still not wool, but it's good in it's own way. Same with the BK. I just don't try to think of them as the samekind of kilt.
Here's that moved post.
Thanks Ron. I don't want to put down the acrylic SWK, but I think that will be the only one I get, if for no other reason than that I have six cats, LOL! I'm pausing for a while in buying kilts until i figure out the tartans I want and so on. I'll probably have a USAK this year and at some point a tank. Ah, 16 Oz ooooo. I want to be sure about what I want before I get a tank or perhaps one of Matts Box pleats. In a way, I am very overwelmed by the abundence of tartan options. Money can be squeezed out of the old turnup.
And Joel, we were all posting at the same time, LOL, and couldn't read eachothers posts or something. This happens to me sometimes. Oh well, I'm having fun.
** And there. I hope I have covered all the editing, the whole story of these two kilts, and things are clear enough to rest for a while. This was a lot of fun, and a lot of editing/typeing/logging back in work. I'll keep watching this thread for any new posts. Thanks everybody.

Hopefully things will be resolved with your posting trouble and your decision on a future kilt!
Hey Joel, I just got to read this post again. I don't know much about computers and so on either. I kind of live out in the boonies and the phone lines probably are old. I think this technicle problem I'm having is on my end of things and not X Marks. I have a dsl kind of piggybacked over the regular phoneline which should be pretty stable, but the phone line between my house and the box on the pole might be old and so might the lines all over. The regular phone has problems.
Anyway, what was going on is I was trying to edit a post on the review because I didn't like the way it sounded. I think RiverKilt saw the first post and posted his post. At the same time, he was posting, I had gone back and cut and pasted a corrected editing of that review. I saw his post and started to respond as you were posting and it got all confused.
I don't have any good way to keep track of what's going on on the screen because I mostly can only read it one line at a time with the up and down keys. I have to move around the screen that way to find the edit fields and things move and so on, so it takes a while to find the post I'm working on.
When it logs me off in the middle of all this, I have to log back in, then find the post, then find the edit button thing, then try to write one more sentence, then save it again.
I've gotten myself in a little trouble because people start responding to my post during this and sometimes you just need to read the whole thing to make sure you aren't sounding like a jurk or something. I've found places where I've been quoted in a post as I was taking out something that I didn't want to say.
Any way, I'm going to start trying to cut and paste my longer posts in from a different editer on my computer. Because I'm constantly scrambling just to get one more sentence written then saved. It's just too much stress and I make all kinds of mistakes.
Perhaps what I need is a different pare of monkey feet to type with, LOL!
Take care Joel.

Just throwing my 2 cents in: The outfits look great and you're smile in the second pic really does say it all.

Ehh... the one in the second picture that looks like a longer haired version of the same guy in the first pic... I think, but don't quote me on that.

Good to put a picture with the name. Any links to your ceramics work? I've been wondering about it for a while.

I'm working on that, O'Neille. I'm going to get a number of pictures taken of my work. I have pictures, but because of a few nude and semi-nude goddess sculptures, they aren't quite what I would like to post on X-Marks. Thanks O'Neille.
