Have to confess I rather like, just not sure where i would wear it.
I did see some pink camo in a fabric shop recently and was tempted, but resisted...
perhaps I will give in!!

W2F, I didn't say don't wear it. I just think you'll get quite a different reaction from Hannah and her friends! And I'll even go to the pub with you just to watch the crowd!

w2f,
Hmmmm....I spy a new dress sporran and Argyll Jacket. It seems someone is getting ready for Burns' Night! (I do hope you will forgo your latest creation and join us in XMTS tartan though!).
Cheers

The beauty of this camo print is no kin to the pastel pinks of the girlie camo prints usually found in fabric stores. (I didn’t ask Steve - and he didn’t tell - its source.)

Do not for a moment think I would give up Mr. Skunk for some “wimpy wabbit” sporran! - especially when he has this effect on Burns Night revelers:

But consider the busy weekend, where the night prior is spent mingling with revelers of another sort at the local microbrewery. Perhaps a bright pink note of cheeriness would be welcomed .

Thanks! I may have to take you up on that.

Is that a reverse Kinguisse?
It certainly seems to have a certain mirror imageness about it -
Yaaaay!!!!
I am slowly working my way through my stash of DPM, AKA camouflage fabric - I started out with a civilian three colour forest type, am working on a desert and have a blue - and another one - possibly a four colour forest.
Whilst I will never be able to attain a true Kollection I am working up to a Kollectette of 'ghillie' Kinguisse kilts, ideal for the various locations around here.
I am trying to think of somewhere that would necessitate a pink version - there must be a location where it would be apt... hmmm...

Hamish, how long is that wish list? And just where on that list is the Pink Death camo? The Wizard is your supplier.
It was recently down to just two, W2F, but now that I have added the Pink Death camo, it is back up to seven - the PDc being the latest, so it will be a few months before I get around to doing anything about it. I shall be having a word with young Steve, in the fullness of time.
Take care,
Ham.

What a splendid (and sharp-eyed) lass you are! It is, indeed, the reverse or inverted Kinguisse. Taking a page from your book, the pleats are smaller and more numerous than I normally make for my casual camo kilts because I could not bear to toss away any of this fabric. None of the inside excess is cut out, either. This kilt could be recycled if adverse reaction reaches critical mass - and a woman friend has already requested trousers made from it!
I still have not come across any pink plastic side-snap buckles for it yet, so it's merely belted at the moment.
