Are They In A Fog? Have I Been Invisible??

So I've had my Antarctica kilt for about six weeks now. I've worn it around town a couple times and at least once to work. I've yet to have anyone comment on it or even mention it.

Of course my expectations were lots of compliments...wrong...

Loving the tartan I've been amazed that no one commented on such a beautiful tartan. Sort of chalked it up to lack of kilt sophistication here in the Canyonlands.

Today I figured what the heck and kilted up for work in the Antarctica again. As soon as I walked into work the ladies started raving about it. "Is that a new kilt?" "I really like that tartan." And they were wild about the way the back was pleated.

Then, after work a really sleazy Red Neck schizo-tweaker looking guy stops me in the parking lot and goes bananas over the kilt and tartan too. Shakes my hand and starts telling me all about his Irish heritage. I'm wanting to go home, I'm tired...and I have a sudden urge to find some alcohol based hand cleaner. He wants to yap on and on and on.

So, like, where were these people all the other times I've worn this kilt?

Had this same shirt on and same sporran only added pushed down white soccer sox with white Z Coil shoes.

People were blinded by it the first few times. Now they got used to the beautiful tartan
and now want to comment. It happens all the time.

Maybe you were in the fog? I guess they are so used to see you kilted that nobody noticed, which is good (normal).

Well I could give you a long psycho-babble BS reply about how you create your own reality and somewhere down the line you probably thought "I wish I could just wear the kilt like anything else and no one would even notice," and then it happened. Then when you thought "How come no body noticed my kilt?" you changed reality again and everyone could see it.

But I won't say all of that because as everyone knows its really just "oop:happens".

But that is a beautiful tartan, I don't know how anyone could see it and not comment

I'm onboard with the "create your own reality" view, there Beowulf67

Been trying to tell people that for years, no one listens.
