I have a Fuji S2, when I got my pocket camera, it really annoyed me to hit upon it's limitations. Fitting it in my pocket though....

Yeah, but you need a bigger lens and change the Canon to say Nikon. THEN you'll look like an official photographer <---- completely said tongue in cheek.

I have a Yashica 35mm and somewhere (I think I am the only one that knows it even is there) I have access to a Yashica TLR, but I don't think I want to go back to film.

I shoot with a Canon 30D, big camera with a supply of big lenses. People usually get the point you're not a tourist with all that gear.

But if you want to just carry around the camera and not a lot of accessories, nothing says PRO like a bracket.

I have one (not this one) and it adds more balance, as well as offsetting the flash by raising it higher over the lens.

I have one I got locally for about 30, but don't forget the flash cable, I have a PC cable for my Fuji, if I used my Yashica film camera, I have a flash cable for that too.
