Pleats Dancing In The Wind
So I'm showing a lovely visitor the sights around town today. We're down at the Horseshoe Bend Overlook of the Colorado River on the lip of Glen Canyon. It is VERY VERY windy out. I'm guessing at least 40mph coming up the canyon with even higher gusts.
I'm wearing my 16 ounce Strome Scott Modern from Lochcarron, sewn up by Kathy Lare.
In attempting to get some pics of the kilt we actually got some great pics of the high winds dancing in the pleats.
New folks, still worried about the wind, notice my hands are in my hoodie pocket. The klit stays modest, even in high winds, due to the craftsmanship of the garment.

Well, at least I had my back to the canyon for the last pic...
But, point is, with a well made kilt, you don't have to worry about the wind so much. In fact, once you have your confidence up in the wind, you'll probably enjoy the feel of the wind dancing in your pleats.

Ah, the fresh air!
It was windy here today as well. Not that windy. But I was glad to be wearing my 16 oz made by Kathy Lare. No problem.

I agree Ron. There is nothing like the feel of the wind moving in the pleats. The feeling of the kilt as it moves in harmony with the gusts and stillness of the airflow can at times (and depending on the location one is in) be almost zen like.
And now Weedhopper, I must go and reflect on the meaning of tartan.

Just goes to show how low the chances of the wind answering the "question" really are!

Ron - this post is all about you! If there isn't a photo, the lovely visitor did not happen!
