Well personally, I find the traditional style garter is so much more comfortable than elastic that very rarely do I wear elastic flashes anymore these keep your hose hose but I find they do not dig into your leg at all.

Thanks but they weren't really a find they were knit for and given to me.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, these are unique and I've found they give me even more reason to wear the Isle of Skye Tartan. I'm getting another solid set to go with the Graham of Menteith tartan.
