    fox masks galore...

Does everyone know about this outfit? It seems to be a good start towards making more than one full mask sporran from the same hide...

LOL. You can even make pink and purple ones!

It looks like they did a pretty rough job trimming out around the eyes and such. How would you plan to dress that up for a mask sporran?

It does look like a good deal, although most of the pieces would likely be unsuitable for sporrans due to their color.

Those are real fox faces, generally cast-offs from the coat-making industry. I've never seen one suitable for a good mask sporran, but might could be used for a rustic style one.

I picked up a rustic sporran at a local highland games with this kind of in finished flat mask on a brown leather body with magnetic closure:

Makes a decent casual sporran with some realism but doesn't look like you have a live animal clawing to get out of your crotch. Only cost abour $15US. Works great.

I actually have several fox masks from that same seller. I second what others have said that the cut and shape-ability is not great for work as a sporran. If you would like one just pm me and I'll give it to you for the cost of shipping.
