    Skye Highland Outfitters PV Kingussie

This is my second kilt that I bought to replace the B&S casual I had. I wanted something light weight for the summers here in Utah. I kept the same tartan as my B&S, but went with a PV. SHO offered to make me this one in Kingussie style pleats. I was not sure if it was going to work, but it did! It looks great and more importantly FEELS great. He made it from 6 yards (roughly) of PV tartan. The one thing nice about SHO is their kilt maker is very talented and can do more than just a knife pleated kilt. When I purchased my kilt, a 6 yard was not even listed. However, they worked with me to get a truly custom made kilt. For less that 200 dollars, you can't beat the price either.

There is only one problem and it is with me, not the kilt. A little bit ago I decided to add in more cardio work outs to my weight lifting routine. Well, results are in and I have lost 1 inch of my waist and 1 inch from my hips. The kilt still fits (I planned on losing the inch on the waist), but I never planned on losing it from around my hip measurement. I might end up having to sell this wonderful kilt if this keeps going. Not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

Anyways, here are some pics (sorry, I lost the picture of me from the rear, showing the pleats. I think I accidentally deleted it.)

It is a good thing! Keep up the cardio and get the kilt altered. You look grand!

I remember reading on here that a Kingussie was being offered. Looks good. At that price it's a heck of a bargain.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.
