    Mike -- I don't know if you saw the op in this thread, but unfortunately in my Dad's case the location of the cancer in the prostate is such that the doc's were afraid they might miss some with surgery. Thus the chemo. I'm glad to hear that your's went so well mate!

    MacBean -- I spent part of yesterday remembering my dear departed grandfather, who was like a father to me (I didn't have the best relationship with my Dad until a few years ago). Bitter sweet day in that respect, but we have those treasured memories. All the best.
