Trinity Hall works for me. I think my wife would like this pub a "wee" better than the Tilted Kilt.

Hey all - just an idea, I saw this on the Trinity Hall webpage:
Laphroaig Single Malt
(The King of Islay, perhaps?)
John Campbell, Distillery Manager for Laphroaig will be coming to Dallas for the week, and besides a visit to our friends at Sigels, and some trade training, the other opportunity to spend time with the man will be here at Trinity Hall Dallas. We'll bring out the Ardmore, and then the full line from Laphroaig, 10, 10 year cask, 1/4 cask, 18 & 25 year old too.
We'll roll out their entire line and the special editions!
Six sample whiskies, light snack appetizers and great conversation! $ 25+tax
Hold My Seat - Dallas Reservation
Even though its a Tuesday, we can combine our get together with a Scotch tasting.

Laphroaig, I've been wanting to try that since I like peat and smoke in my Scotch.

Tilted Kilt or some other pub in Grapevine/mid cities would work for me. If it's Trinity Hall, it would need to be a Saturday for me to make it over that far east.

I am also game for a kilt night. The Trinity Hall in Dallas would be very easy for me to get to, but Tilted Kilt is a bit much for me (if women find it offensive, then I find it offensive).

Hey Elim - I don't believe we have consensuses on a place or date yet. I’m not sure of all the working of the forum but is it possible to put out a message with a “vote” function. If so, we could have a few places and dates combination and settle on one the highest vote count.

"Consensus" is such a strong word :P We've tried polling before, and even then we don't really get a consensus. It still comes down to just setting a date and place and hoping people show
That being said... let's set it for Saturday, Nov. 6... Trinity Hall in Dallas at 7pm until whenever everyone goes home. For anyone who doesn't want to drive and has access to the DART rail, Trinity Hall is right next to Mockingbird Station.
(Chewse, I really don't mean to flippantly disregard your post. It is a great suggestion! But from experience here and other places (work, friends, et al.), we would quickly get nowhere )
