Thanks fellas, I enjoyed making this blade. Shaun I am eagerly awaiting the steel and new grinding belts. I found that if you turn a cutting edge of a blade into an old and worn 2 x 72 grinding belt you have a rapid deterioration of the belt which requires you to run like a scared kid from the shop I have tested this theory 5 times this week and it was true every time. I guess I should buy new belts every 2 years or so.
I have learned my lesson and I am making a leather sheath for this one as well. Thanks again.

That is really beautiful. How long is the blade? Three and one-half inches?

Thanks, the blade is 3 3/4" long.
