I'm not sure which I'm wearing yet either...not my Army. Probably my box pleat...it's made of heavy wool, but it's only 3.5 yards of fabric vs. 8-9.

I am probably wearing my Army Sport Kilt. Its lightweight and I can spill stuff on it.

For what it's worth gents, it can be a bit breezy at these games. My first time kilted in public was last year here in a PV casual from USAkilts. Granted a lot of my anxiety was because I was new to the experience, but I did have an oh sh*t moment in the parking lot following a large gust between my truck and a motor home.
It's only supposed to be a high of 81 degrees on Saturday and 73 on Sunday and winds up to 12 mph. Not Monterey weather, but quite nice!!
8 yards of 16oz worsted for me
See ya soon,
Brooke

Good information to know. Thank you very much. My REAL worry is spilling something on my new replacement kilt but I will decide tomorrow morning.

I'll be there. And while this is likely too late for many of you, it was warm today but looks nice Saturday with a light breeze. Don't forget sunscreen for your bald spot.

We certainly had a break in the heat for Saturday and wonderful weather for Sunday. I loved it particularly being in all that heavy wool I was in.
